JJ invites you to take a 6-week journey as an independent study, exploring your creative process in a safe and stimulating environment with other artists under his personalized guidance and instruction.  With his patient, encouraging yet straightforward approach,  JJ will help you expand your vision of art and simply your approach to your work.

As he works with you, respectful of your goals, current project and unique style, JJ will offer advice and insights that deepen and challenge your thinking.  During each session, JJ will give you personalized critiques on your work, not only to help you strengthen your skills and techniques, but also to motivate you to grow as an artist, building your confidence.

Participants will gather at the beginning of each session for a brief discussion and Q&A with JJ before setting up for individual painting time while JJ circulates.  Participants will also be encouraged to collaborate with one another as they work.  Artists bring their own work, reference images and materials.  Still life materials, some easels, and water containers are available at the gallery.

 

While JJ adheres to fundamental principles throughout instruction, all else is fluid.

  • or pay by credit card  $311  (includes $11 credit card transaction fee)​

Policies:

There is $50 non-refundable fee charged if one decides to cancel the registration at anytime. Cancellation with less than five days notice results in no refund for the entire cost of the class unless a replacement participant is found. If any unpredictable circumstance forces the gallery to close for any sessions, there may be make-up meetings offered.

The Village Art Circle Studio & Gallery  assumes no responsibility for any illness or injury resulting from the use of the VAC facility or services.  All students accept full responsibility for their personal health.
